After the recent Windows 10 Creators update, my two Acer TravelMates started crashing randomly. Sometimes they would freeze with no error and sometimes they would show the dreaded Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD).
One BSOD error said "Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Netwtw04.sys"
This error relates to the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 card. Installing the latest driver resolved the issue for me.

I have the same freezing issue with my B117 and already have the latest AC 7265 driver – 19.51.2.4.
If this is indeed another AC 7265 fault, it is getting very tedious. I had a lot of trouble with poor/slow connections with previous AC 7265 drivers.
I have a Realtek WiFi card on order now, and plan to swap out the Intel AC 7265 card ASAP. I hope that solves the issues.

I replaced the AC7265 with a Realtek unit and the PC froze again a day later, so it was not due to the Intel card. The freeze coin coincided with an error in the event log showing that a process did not have permission to start. This is a common issue where processes have been miss-configured (although mine is a new Windows install). The internet has many instructions on re-configuring. Just Google the error message in the event log. Anyway, so-far no more freezes……..

This is to help other people…. It was still freezing with or without power supply connected. I upgraded this PC with an SSD and I may have just cured the freezes now by disabling the Windows Search service.
